hello dusty ts3 girlies! i’m graduating high school!

hi! hope you guys are doing well and are safe during these turbulent times.

I decided to revisit and announce, which is strange during these times, that I am graduating high school soon! Whether through a physical graduation in a later future or in a virtual conference, I’m not sure,

but I always thought it would be hilarious to announce this when it happens as I spent my middle school years making custom content, and might have come off a lot older ha ha.

my content and blog will still be up as long as it can be! i don’t use tumblr anymore but i still love y’all. just wanted to close a chapter for good.

According to the current situation that our community is losing a space to be free in their creativity to write and create what we all love I came up with an idea how it could be possible that we can continue and do what we love.

Here is the thing. I love our Sims-Community so much that I thought it would be truly sad to lose all those wonderful CC-Creators, CC-Rebloggers  Storytellers etc. I gained new friends and met wonderful people it would be a shame to lose you guys. 

In real life am a Marketing Manager so this is my field of profession. I made a reservation for the domain simblrs.com. If you love the Sim-Community as much as I love. May you are able to contribute:

  1. Step: Reblog to let people know an idea is born
  2. Step: Spread the word tell all your Simblr-Friends ;)
  3. Step: Follow on Twitter for further updates, retweet!
  4. Step: If your profession is a creative one as mentioned below, join our team and be a part of something promising and great and this will be only for us - THE Sims-Community
  5. Step: Simmers who can contribute to making this project happen will be invited to Discord!
  6. Step: A patreon page will be set up where even if you can’t support with your profession but if you can you will be able to support us financially.
  7. Step: Further announcements will be done via Twitter and I will post here also some updates! 

If you love this idea as much as I do and you can contribute because in your real life you are either

  • Graphic designer
  • Programmer
  • Web/UI Designer
  • Web-App-Programmer
  • and so on

I wrote already a concept of how I picture this to be - similar to a site we all know =D. It will contain a bunch of sims-related content and I think this would be insanely cool to have something like this.

I will also set up a patreon page within the next few days, for those who are willing to support this idea financially. Make sure to follow on Twitter “simblrs” for further updates!

I did set up also a Discord called “simblrs” this will be the space where all the simmers can join who want and can contribute to making this project happen. You will need to tell me how you can imagine to contribute and be a part of this new “Simblrs Community” and you will be invited.

2017, a retrospective.

hey! yep, that’s me! I’m still alive!

Sorry to not do a “best of 2017″ post, I feel like I haven’t posted quite enough to, LOL. And I had an upcoming set, but it got lost in the inspiration sauce.

i don’t really know what to say… 2017 was a fast and challenging year. i watched shit change in a heartbeat, for the better and the worse. i guess the sims community isn’t what i remember it to be much, but thank you so much for those who have just joined the community, and for those who have stuck around for all these years.

it means so much to me. see ya in 2018! xx

This blog did not and will not send requests for bitcoin donations.

There seems to be a virus or some sort of malware going around causing blogs to “send out” chat messages to blogs that they follow asking for help with the purchase of certain items through donations of seemingly small amounts using bitcoin and adds a link to the message.

The message goes as following (at least the first message I got went like this): “Hi there buddy. I need help, I’m trying to buy a laptop and I can’t afford it. I’m about 0.36$ short, and I’d really appreciate if you could help me and transfer some money to me via bitcoin using this *link*.”

The small details in the message seems to have a few variations with the greeting, amount and purchased item showing up in different variations from formal to friendly, from 0.016 to 2$ and from a phone case to a laptop among others.

The blogs that are affected send out the messages to blogs that they follow for a long time mostly, so you are most likely to receive the message from a long time, active follower whose name you might recognize or a mutual etc. The blogs that are affected are not spam bots but actual active followers who follow the recipient for months or years and most likely the blogger who “sent” the message is unaware of the message being sent.

DO NOT OPEN THE LINK.

Opening up the link will cause the virus to spread even more and infect your computer/mobile with any sort of malware.

If you have received a message of that sort from this blog please know that it was not sent by me or within my control and ignore/delete the message without clicking the link.

So I really didn’t want to do this and I’ve been putting this off for months, but this constant harassment is really fucking with my mental health and I honestly just want it to stop. So back in August I had to leave my job because my depression and anxiety began to worsen again. Since then I’ve had trouble getting employment and have been struggling to get back on my feet. During that time all my bills have gone delinquent and now I’m close to 1000 dollars of payments due now or my credit and finances go down the drain. It also doesn’t help that my bank account is overdrawn by 217 dollars. This doesn’t help me in the slightest because I’m trying to move out of my parents home and my credit has gotten bad due to my accounts closing and such. I did finally manage to find employment but unfortunately I don’t start working/earning money until after my payments are due and even so this new job just won’t cover the expenses. I know credit card debt isn’t a good excuse to ask for money since I got myself in this situation but its really stressing me out and causing my anxiety to worsen and I find myself getting panic attacks every time I get a phone call every 30 minutes. I just want it to stop. I’d really appreciate any help you’ll provide. I cant offer much but my thanks if you decide to donate, but it would really help me a lot. Heya! How’s it been? Man, I was about to ditch Sims for a while (dying community U_U, lack of inspiration, me slowly loosing my eyesight to my computer shenanigans, and moving on with other interests in general), but I checked and damn, 20,000+ downloads! Y’all are wild! So I’m gonna pack my exhausted self and chuck on for y’all- thus as if it’s my last! (hope y’all like the cheeky k-pop reference there)

Also hope you dont mind the new preview style and the lack of a chair, lol. I was trying something new… and major thanks to the custom content master @baufive for saving my noob channel mistakes, again!

Back in 2015 you demanded that the FCC adopt strict net neutrality rules and establish a free and open internet. And you won. 

That should’ve been the end of it. But apparently not.

The new head of the FCC wants to undo the net neutrality protections you fought so hard for.

His proposed changes open the door to your web traffic being slowed down, or even blocked altogether. You could be forced to pay extra to use your favorite apps. You could even be prevented from getting news from the sources you trust.

Title II protects consumers and democracy by ensuring all voices can be heard.

You know the drill. Here’s what to do:

The FCC is taking comments from the public, and dearfcc.org is making it as simple as possible for you to make your voice heard.

You’ll just need to provide a name, an address, and then say a little bit about why rolling back Title II protections is a bad idea. If you’re not quite sure what to write, here’s something to get you started:

I’m writing to urge you to keep our Open Internet rules based on Title II in place. Without them, we could lose the internet as we know it.

The proposed changes to FCC rules would allow fast lanes for sites that pay, and force everyone else into slow lanes. We’ve already seen access to streaming services like Netflix, popular games like League of Legends, and communication platforms like FaceTime slowed down, or even blocked. Conditions like this hurt businesses large and small, and penalize the users who patronize them. 

The changes also open the door to unfair taxes on internet users, and could also make it harder for blogs, nonprofits, artists, and others who can’t pay up to have their voices heard.

Please leave the existing net neutrality rules based on Title II in place.
